Purpose of the Role:

At Indicia Worldwide, we create new value for our clients and prospects, and our marketing is designed to deliver against that brand promise. As Indicia Worldwide’s content lead, you will work closely with the sales and marketing director to define and activate a content-led inbound marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise, write and execute campaigns built around valuable content – webinars, whitepapers, blogs, social, and more
  • Own the creation of long-form whitepapers to provide the fuel for inbound marketing
  • Schedule, brief and manage through work from departments within the agency to serve the marketing needs of the business and produce effective marketing
  • Create content that has a long tail and reuse and repurpose great content wisely across channels
  • Own the business’s website and keep it up to date by regularly scheduling valuable content
  • Own the back-end of the website – built in HubSpot – and manage the development of new features
  • Own the business’s social channels and deliver a social media marketing strategy that makes full use of stakeholder networks and ongoing content production (in conjunction with one team member)
  • Equip the sales team with an up-to-date, on-brand trove of sales materials and support in the creation of new business sales materials
  • Maintain and grow a library of case studies for the business
  • Understand and police the use of the Indicia Worldwide brand in our campaigns, external communications, and internal activities
  • Define and deliver against SEO strategy
  • Measure and optimise activity on an ongoing basis, and report monthly to senior leadership team
  • Manage the ongoing Sales and Marketing activity plan
  • Line manage the Marketing Executive job function, whose key task is to maintain the ‘Brand Hub’ library of branded content and support the wider sales and marketing team

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience owning the execution of a cross-channel marketing strategy
  • Ability to run a publishing schedule of content, led by analytics and SEO needs for the business
  • Demonstrable ability to manage the production of content and campaigns through an agency setup, from brief writing to amends cycles, multi-stakeholder sign-off and activation
  • Experience working with a wide range of content – video, blogs, long-form publications, presentations
  • As content lead, you will be the ‘editor-in-chief’ for the brand’s marketing, and able to coach others in storytelling and best practice
  • As ‘editor-in-chief’ you’ve also got impeccable language skills and can rewrite a dodgy slide in a matter of seconds
  • Demonstrable ability (i.e. experience and portfolio of written work) to originate content, such as email marketing, long-form content and blogs
  • Tech savvy with the ability to self-teach martech systems
  • Experience with CRM systems a plus, we are a HubSpot business
  • A self-starter with a willingness to try new things, with their finger on the pulse of the latest methods, tools and best practice for creating great content
  • Ability and willingness to empower expertise within the business to create great content, through ghostwriting and consulting on story points
  • Ability to lead meetings and collaborate with subject matter experts (and turn their expertise into compelling stories)
  • A marketer who reads widely on the marketing industry – you’ll be helping to sell marketing agency services
  • Brand literate – you will work with creative lead to police and refine our (relatively new) brand
  • Solid understanding of earned, owned and paid media, with the ability to setup campaigns across each
