Account Manager

We are currently looking for a Account Manager with experience in Data and Martech, to develop and deliver on our integrated accounts.

Purpose of the role:

As an Account Manager for a global end-to-end Marketing Agency, you’ll take pride in exceeding client expectations - delivering on time and on brief, whilst adding value along the way. Importantly you’ll be energetic, proactive and inject a sense of fun.

In this role, you'll be working with some globally recognised brands in the marketing technology space and so experience in working with and interpreting data is a must, along with an understanding of martech functionality and purpose – a desire to learn more in this area will fuel your development.

You’ll work alongside the rest of the Client Services Team, as well as with Planning, Data, Creative, Analytics and Operations teams to develop and deliver on our integrated accounts.

Bringing with you an ability to handle multiple priorities, you’ll take responsibility for managing the end-to-end campaign brief process and will be involved at all stages across channel and media planning, creative development, and operations delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on high-profile, multi-disciplined accounts
  • Activation of data driven strategy into CRM and other channels
  • Inspiring the team to deliver excellence and influencing the wider business to deliver ground-breaking and innovative projects.
  • You’ll ensure that jobs are scheduled, briefed, and budgeted in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Building client relationships and using strategic partnerships to drive growth.
  • Interpreting and understanding our proposition to uncover opportunities with existing clients.
  • You’ll be responsible for briefing all teams, reviewing their work, and presenting proposals and delivering back to the client, all with the support of the Account Director and Client Services team.
  • Contribute as part of a team of experienced marketing activation specialists. Identifying opportunities or challenges, then providing recommendations and support to the client as well as internal teams.
  • Managing workload across multiple teams to deliver projects and ensuring peoples time is used effectively, working closely with PM on digital projects
  • Exceeding client expectations and building mutually beneficial relationships

Key Experience, Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Experience in data and digital, you will be used to applying analytical thinking and problem solving to your day to day decisions.
  • Technically minded, understanding the clients' data needs and user cases.
  • Interpretation of the technical requirements into easy to understand explanations (appropriate level of detail) for clients. Whilst also being able to answer some of the queries raised from the client
  • Capability to seek out technical solutions to help automate our clients" workflows and improve efficiency of processes.
  • Some knowledge of Martech and how brands can integrate their customer journey. 
  • Understanding of data feeds/flows and GDPR
  • Being clear and concise in your communications – whether it’s in briefs, presentations, reporting or verbal
  • Manage demanding clients with ease and while juggling priorities. But you will also need to use these skills to manage relationships with senior stakeholders in the business on several accounts.
  • Analytical briefing to feed into the wider campaign strategy
  • Management of set up of EM campaign deployment through advanced technology
  • Working with internal teams to provide reporting and insight to clients to shape future strategy  
  • Accuracy of reporting and a commercial understanding of project profitability, forecasting and its importance 
  • This person will have excellent communication skills whether face to face, over email or more recently on video calls should be second nature.
