In a category where high-quality visuals are key, how can a beauty brand preserve its aesthetic values and build ROI, all while staying true to its sustainability practice? Our task was to bring L’Oréal's commitment to sustainability to life through its Garnier brand.
To help Garnier comply with its social, environmental and ethical standards, we proposed transforming its LC Serum Booster POS in Indonesia from acrylic to a more sustainable material.
Initially, the idea of using paper board was met with concern that it may not achieve the quality finish of a plastic material. However, as experts in sustainability sourcing and value engineering, we proved that a paper board solution, if developed the right way, can be just as visually pleasing as acrylic.
Our recommendation helped realise ROI and reduce the use of plastic in Garnier’s POS, transforming it into a paper board material that is recyclable, while preserving its high-quality aesthetic:
